Using the EXE Installer
- Download: Visit our website and navigate to the Downloads section. Choose the AIDA64 Extreme or Engineer EXE installer suitable for your system.
- Run the installer: Double-click the downloaded EXE file and follow the on-screen instructions. The installer will automatically extract the necessary files and create a desktop shortcut for easy access.
- Start AIDA64: Click the newly created desktop shortcut or navigate to the installation directory (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\FinalWire\AIDA64) and launch
aida64.exe
.
Using the Portable ZIP Package
- Download: From the Downloads section, select the AIDA64 Extreme or Engineer ZIP package.
- Extract the files: Right-click the downloaded ZIP file and choose "Extract All" to a desired location. No installation is required.
- Run AIDA64: Navigate to the extracted folder and double-click
aida64.exe
.
Note: While the ZIP package offers portability, it may lack some features compared to the full installation. For best performance and access to all functionalities, we recommend using the EXE installer.
Portable Use (AIDA64 Engineer only)
Take AIDA64 Engineer on the go! Run it directly from portable storage like USB flash drives or external HDDs. This allows you to analyze PCs, assess performance, and check system health wherever you need. Simply extract (or copy) the AIDA64 files to an empty folder on your device and run aida64.exe.
Important: When using AIDA64 Engineer on a local computer, remember it's licensed for single-user access by a corporate engineer or IT technician. Please delete the files after completing your tasks.
Installing AIDA64 Business and Network Audit
Using AIDA64 in a computer network requires a different approach, as it doesn't need to be installed on each client. Depending on your network infrastructure, you can either deploy AIDA64 on a domain controller or use it from a shared network location. This method simplifies the deployment process and ensures efficient network auditing and inventory management.
